A Classic.

I watched the Bill Cosby Show and Kid's Say the Darn-est Things growing up because of my grandmother. And despite my age I loved it so much. Now I do not know what hit me but Bill Cosby some how popped in my mind and I thought why not YouTube him. And viola! There he is! Thank heavens for YouTube and the people who upload videos of the classics on it.

I really hope you enjoy this as much as I do. Till my next post! I love you all!

Failure. Goals. Ambitions. DREAMS

Picture a big modern rooftop apartment or a beautifully mowed lawn with a white fence and a big suburban house. Now try to imagine a successful career or business, a loving partner and adorable little children. Whatever your picture of a perfect life is when you are an adult I am sure it isn't one of being alone and that of a chaotic environment.

Why do I bring up such a random topic of perfect futures? Well I just came to think about how all our dreams are about prosperity and self gratification. Perfection or a somewhat utopia. That's why when we end up with a so-so or average lifestyle we feel like failures. But then again how many of the people you know went on to being who they exactly wanted to be and did what exactly what they wanted to do and lives exactly the way they wanted to? If there are people who are so in your life don't feel bad comparing yourself to them. Why? Well here are some reasons:

1. That person might be in the place he or she is in because of the manipulation they've done to constantly put people down so they could be on top.
2. That person might have a happy lifestyle and career wise but don't have an actual life or family or loved ones to be happy about.

Now I will give you reasons that might help you realize your mistakes as to why you aren't like the go-getter friend of yours.

1. Your very successful and seemingly perfect-in-all-aspects-of-life friend might be more persevering than you. He or she might have the kind of discipline, drive and passion that can move mountains and actually make dreams a reality.
2. That person might have a goal that means so much to him or her that there is no other way to go than towards that dream.

See my bottom line is that all of us have to have a really really strong goal ahead of us. A dream that makes our world go round. One that we can not not strive to achieve. A dream that we want so bad that we will do whatever it takes to make it a reality. And of course the dedication, passion and persistence that a fighter must have. To me there are no winners or losers in life. There also aren't more driven people. I believe that each and everyone of us has an open ended life. A life wherein whenever we choose to or how ever we choose to, we can manipulate to change its course, there just has to be a goal that is larger than life, one that will pull you to it so you can say that you are satisfied. You are happy. You are not a failure but a content person who made his or her dream a reality.

Sherlock Holmes is my one true love :)

Here's the video I promised! :)

So Sherlock is back ladies and gents!!!
When I was young I was never a big reader. I hated books in general (textbooks, novels, short stories, name it I didn't give a care in the world for them). Everyone in my family would tease me that I was adopted because I didn't have the "intellectual" and "bookworm" gene. But as it turns out I was just a late bloomer and I just needed a trigger piece that would get me started on reading. When I was in elementary we were assigned a book report, we needed to read "Sherlock Holmes: The Speckled Band" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and I immediately fell in love with the character and read all the stories. I still keep the collection in my bookshelf to this very day. So enough about the chit-chat to those of you who don't know about the sequel here is the trailer! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. :)

Hi!!!

Oh, here I go again making false promises that I can't seem to keep. I'm currently in the library of my college squeezing in some blogging time. There have been so much learning going on in my life that it pains me to not be able to share it to the world through this humble "some-what-of-a-blog" of mine. Later when I get home I will post the trailer of the latest movie sequel I am so psyched about! And being a mystery fan I just can't wait for it to be released. (Any guesses from the hint???) Any who I will check back with you guys later! Know that when I am not posting a blog I am crying inside.
